New Drums Sounds DLC - 7 Sets
Drum Sounds DLC - Pack 01 - Five Sets!
- Basic Set 01
- Heavy Drum Set
- Electronic Set
- No Toms Set!
- 8-Bit Set (My favorite :D)
Mirror: Filedropper - Free, with a 5gig Limit, with no signup! (Note: Full pack only available in Mirror)
- Soft Set - Single Pack
- Enhanced Default Set - Single Pack Breadache
How do I use them?
Well, it's simple, just open your FoFiX folder, goto your mods directory, and place the sounds in a new folder in the mods directory. Call the folder whatever you please, I suggest the name of the sound pack, and turn the mod on with FoFiX.
Or, you can just goto Data>Sounds and BACKUP your original drum sounds files, and paste in the new ones.

Re: New Drums Sounds DLC - Pack 01 Out Now!
Like the idea...
Might want to add to the FoFiX 4.0 dev area on fretsonfire.org?

I like the sound of this, because I do not like the default drum sounds. Will try.
EDIT: In Basic Set 01 the crash sound is a tom.

There's no crash in the RB2 sounds. The green pad is a floor tom, which serves a much better purpose than a crash during a fill.

Yeah, I intentionally left a crash out of most of the packs, for the reason stated above.
Any have any requests? I have quite a few, that's by-large and understatement, drum samples to work with :)

The heavy set was the only one I downloaded and it sound much better than the defaults they give you. Awesome job.

Thanks, :D.
I LOVE the bass sample for that set, it's perfect for playing double bass before a song starts.

An info for your smart learning: I was told when I posted my drum sounds that there's no need to overwrite the files in the sounds folder. Put the audio files into a 'sounds' folder in a folder within the 'mod' directory. The sounds can then be enabled and disabled within the game options.

As a lefty drummer, I can tell you that the sounds do get flipped.
But so do the colours and that pisses me off :( (even with drum flip)
Btw the 8-bit sounds were awesome :D

I'll post this in the main post :D
But let me get it straight, you make a folder in the 'mods' folder called "Drum sounds" or something and within this "Drum Sounds" folder you create a folder called "sounds"?
