ok, random question, but i wanna know. ive searched the forums and found nothing helpful so far so ive decided to get some direct help. does anyone know a good program to record FoF with, say for YouTube videos? i was going to try HyperCam 2, but i remembered that that doesnt record sound. can anyone help me with this? thanks.

HyperCam 2 record sounds. You just need to check the record sound box but I don't recommend HyperCam 2. Your video will off-sync from the sound. I recommend you to use Fraps. It's better.

ahhh i forgot all about fraps. but doesnt the trial only record like 30 seconds or so?

That's not a cracked. That's just a registered version. Anyway, by using the super encoder, the quality will be low. So, I would recommend you to use Dr.DiVX to make the video in a smaller size and high in quality like mine. :)

You can use Hypercam 2. Just record yourself doing the song and all, then you can download the song and use Windows Movie Maker to sync the song and video. :D That's How I Do mine.

I got it working with a very nice program called glc
Here's a Linux.com Article about it and here's the site.

I didn't notice any major slowdowns (like with recordmydesktop or istanbul) but the filesize's are huge. Pretty mught the site and article explains it all.

Forgot to mention that GLC is basicly an improvement of yukon.
