help with torrent files - how do i use them?

i downloaded a song pack with all the gh1 songs on it, but it is in .torrent format . can someone please tell me how to get my songs out?

you beed a bittorrent client to do it.

a good one is utorrent (aka microtorrent) google search for it.

Once you have the client, the .torrent file should open with utorrent automatically.

Edit: adn the topprent file isn't the songs, it's just the info for where you can dowload the songs form other people, it's how torrents work. so you'll have to wait a while for them to finish downloading. not too long, of course, because torrents are usually pretty fast.

You did not get warned for helping someone with torrents. The problem is that the boards have a tendency to go warez these days and FoF being very related to GH3, this is not the kind of attention you want to bring on the forums, especially in a public section such as off-topic.

Torrents on the other hand are absolutely legit and can be (and are) used in numerous legit ways and discussing about torrents clients (even if it suits more the off-topic section) does not cause any problems. The best thing to do to learn about torrents clients (and about almost everything) is to search the net about it. It's easy to find popular clients such as µtorrent and Vuze
