I just tried to start FoFiX on my MacBook after some time again (and after updating to MacOS 10.13 High Sierra a while ago), and it came back with the following error message:
FoFiX Error
An unexpected error has occurred during execution of the main script
ImportError: dlopen(/Applications/FoFiX.app/Contents/Resources/lib/python2.6/lib-dynload/pygame/mixer_music.so, 2): Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Frameworks/SDL_mixer.framework/Versions/A/SDL_mixer

Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:

Anybody came across the same problem on his/her Mac? Any Ideas how to proceed here? I guess this comes from the changes Apple may have made with the latest MacOS Update, but I'm not deep enough into things to assume where to start looking...
Would be really sad if I'd have to quit fretting on my Mac
Thanks in advance,
Jan
