Re: how to make a midi
I downloaded both of the "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" zip files on the first post, and they both already had a notes.mid file, which supposedly would be ready to use in Phase Shift (possibly Frets on Fire).

Re: how to make a midi
i'm not looking to use frets on fire. i'm looking to make a sheet music from a midi of this song. which i could do with a program like sibelius, HOWEVER, i need a midi that doesn't come out as a jumbled mess of random notes to do this.

Re: how to make a midi
This isn't going to work for your purpose, these MIDIs are not a representation of the song's real composition, they are 5 button representations. The only thing you could make use of here is the vocal track. Pro keys is already mostly real music representation, and pro guitar can be converted to real representation, but those features are not in the charts at the link you posted.

Re: how to make a midi
Try a google search for "free <song name> Midi download" You would be surprised how many results you get.. Or at a real push you could try a google search for " <song name> free sheet music" That again will yield hundreds if not thousands of results.
