Re: Downconvert Phase Shift to FoFiX
Hmm, I suppose you're mostly talking about the GH series. Because RB is pretty straight forward converting the audio to equal: drums.ogg, rhythm.ogg, guitar.ogg, and song.ogg.
However the GH charts contain stuff like sysex_events & crazy notes(extended sustains). If you load one of those midi's into EOF and enabled the preference to save separate RBN files. That will get rid of the sysex_events in the midi. However, the crazy notes are left unaltered. So you'd probably have to fix those manually. Perhaps you can ask RayneBC to look into trimming out overlapping sustains for the RBN export in EOF. Oh, you'll have to mix the audio for GH series too.

In EOF, just select the notes that have the "crazy" status (these have a black dot in the center instead of a white dot) and turn that status off by using "Note>Toggle crazy". The overlapping tails will be removed.

Ahhh.....SWEEEETT!!! I did not even know that, and it worked too! Well, there you go. All problems solved(i think).
Load up a midi & press ctrl+a then press T...with the option to save separate RBN files, cleans it all up.
Good stuff Rayne! Wish I knew that like...a couple years ago. LOL!

Re: Downconvert Phase Shift to FoFiX
To make it work in FoFix you might also need to remove all the slider notes as far as I am concerned, that was the tip we used to give people asking about how to play on FoFix.

Re: Downconvert Phase Shift to FoFiX
The RBN compatible MIDI EOF writes wouldn't include slider notation.

Couldn't you just use CTRL+A to select all the notes, turn sliders on for all them, turn crazy notes on for all them, then turn them off? I don't have EOF right in front of me, but I imagine that would work.
