i have frets on fire alarians 2 on my usb harddrive, and i take it to skool to get a little bit of jamming on in my spare time, but it doesnt run well at all. Even at home it doesnt run. It runs at tafe where all the computers are xp home, but if i try to run it on my xp pro computer at home, or at skool it lags so badly and skips that it isnt worth playing. Is there a fix, or version i need for xp pro?

Comps specs?
Fof version?
Graphics drivers up to date?
Desktop color quality set to 32bit?
Any firewall, anti virus software?
Any error messages coming up?
Anything in your log file?

Mike.

I'm running xp profession sp3 and have no problems whatsoever with frets on fire. It is almost definatly a different issue.

It is absolutly nothing to do with what version of windows you are running it works fine with XP and Vista
