That might work. But isn't there an easier way, some FOFIX plugin that does this?

The paddler thing is 10 USD and not garantueed to work...

Doesn't fofix already take midi input the same way as normal joypad input?

No, it doesn't take midi input, unfortunately...

I thought it would do so, just like DTXmania, but no luck so far...

fofix does take midi inputs ive used it myself and it works fine, you just need to assign your pads to the relevent colour,if you cant get that to work try bones midi translator classic its a free program that allows you to turn all your drum midi notes into keyboard keystrokes.bones works well with fofix i am using it currently because fofix only allows you to map 2 pads per colour

I'll try that tonight then! I don't think I've seen this option in the FOFIX menu though, will look into it...

The option is there, options > controller options > create new controller

Code: Select all

<@away_xbox> Looks like it's your lucky day Amak11 >:) Since i don't see Amak here ill choose somebody else....
* @away_xbox straps 15 sticks of TNT to Amak11's body. The display reads [58] seconds.
<@away_xbox> Diffuse the timer by cutting the correct wire. There are 14 wires. They are Green White Peenus Indigo Black Gold Grey Brown Violet Turquoise Teal Magenta Mauve and Yellow.
<Amak11> oh really
<Belisario93> hmm
<Amak11> !cutwire Peenus
<@away_xbox> ...snip....
<@away_xbox> Amak11 cut the Peenus wire. This has defused the timer on the TNT! Just try and get it off you without setting it off, ok?

So I tried that, and i can assign my keyboard keys, but it just doesn't react to the midi input from my drum...
