Postby wutu » Wed Nov 24, 2010 5:21 pm

ok so, ive never really played drums on gh/rb or whatever that much so im not sure what goes where...

in eof...
Green = bass pedal
Red = hi hat
Yellow = Snare
Blue/All = toms
Pink = Crash cymbal

is this right???
also what is the difference between expert bass pedal and expert+ when editing in eof?

That's mostly correct. It should be (in EOF):
Green = Bass pedal
Red = Snare/tom (if necessary)
Yellow = Hi-hat/tom (if necessary)
Blue/All = Ride cymbal/tom
Pink = Crash cymbal/tom (if necessary)

More info here: http://creators.rockband.com/docs/Drum_Authoring

Expert+ bass pedal is used for really fast bass drum parts played with two feet. They will only appear in Phase Shift (a separate MIDI will be made for FoFiX).

thank you both, but about the double bass...
in EoF 1.7 it has the "Toggle Expert+ Bass Drum"
i wanted to know what the difference is for it being on/off
if it is on, will it only appear in expert+ mode?

That's it exactly. Expert+ is or will be supported in Phase Shift, but until FoF adds support, people can rename the expert+ MIDI file to notes.mid to play it in FoF.
