fof blocks on vista - help

so when i start up the latest version of fof it blocks either from start up or when a song starts to play the counter stops on 5 then it goes crazy :s :s

that's because Vista sucks. It decides on its own which programs you are allowed to run or not run on your computer.

Don't know really what else to say, I'm a Mac person.

it's true that vista sucks BUT THAT DOESNT SOLVE MY PROBLEM jeezes

Vista has been having a lot of issues, doesn't mean that it sucks. Regardless, yeah, I don't have an answer either. But that it has a lot of compatibility issues, that's already well-known. It's something to have patience with, not to whine about.

I'd say your best bet would be to find a phone number for tech support from microsoft. I know it sounds dumb and it takes a long time but people who run the phones know more than you think and often can help, and if you get someone good they could probably get some sort of overide on the **** control vista has. Just trying to help considering downgrading your PC, buying a Mac and not playing FoF are your other options...

i really don t see wut the problem is.....i use vista and FoF is working fine for me. i have a nvdvd video card. for awhile Fof was running slow. i was just looking around seeing if i could get it to work and it turns out all i need it was to up date the driver .

Update drivers and turn fof.exe's compatibility mode to XP.
