My F-secure antivirus finds a trojan virus called
Trojan-Spy.Win32.Keylogger.jm
from the file fretsonfire.exe . The file cannot be cleaned; only deleted or renamed.

Should i just ignore it? Or is it really a serious matter?

I have the same problem. Yesterday it seemed to work just fine? I'm getting serious withdrawal symptoms!

Tulos: Haittaohjelmia löytyi 1
Trojan-Spy.Win32.KeyLogger.jm (virus)
C:\...\FretsOnFire-1.0.192-win32.zip\FretsOnFire\FretsOnFire.exe

This is from the virus scan log.

Antivirus detects it when i unzip the files or open the folder.

I tried to install old version (build 184) but it has the same trojan! How is this possible with an open source code project? F-Secure doesn't let me open the game at all, because it says theres a virus in it. :(

add it to exceptions. kaspersky and f-secure misread things ALOT, i scanned it with other virus scanners and its fine. kaspersky gets mad at things that have similarities to things like that.

its better to be safe than sorry, but its okay, there is no virus in this game. at least..not if you download it from this site :O

Even if its NOT a virus, I still can't access the file, even when telling AVG to ignore it. Windows tells me I cannot access the .exe, not allowing me to install it.

My friend without AV receieved the same error about an inaccessable .exe file. I have no security settings restricting it, the file is borked.

Edit: The original version had worked fine for me, except for a few minor video problems.

Yeah, forget about it, as long as you download the game from the official site, it's okay.

Thing is, virus or not, I can't get it to install at ALL.
