This is strange.

okay... first off... im fairly certain this game does not have a virus in it..... some anti-virus programs attempt to detect viruses but just detecting certain viral patterns and not genuine sigs.... that is why some software sees it this way and some doesnt... it could be alot of things... the way the keyboard input is detected... the client/server type architecture.... the way it uploads scores...i seriously doubt there is a virus in the software... so until we can prove otherwise i think the virus topic should be stopped. Virus software is never 100% and gives false positives on occasion. If your worried and you actually pay for your virus software... some virus soft vendors will look at the file to determine if its being improperly detected.
Okay, this is just too weird. I downloaded the game, but I couldn't run, and the .exe file misteriously disappeared after the first attempt. I then proceeded to download it again, with the exact same results. Finally, I realised Kaspersky wasn't running, and right after I turned it on the game started working normally. Virus or no, something seems wrong.

I had the same problem, in my case AVG was denying access to the exe even when choosing "ignore".
I solved it by opening control center and turning off "AVG resident shield".
