Adding Custom Songs to FOF

Okay, here's the deal:I've done EVERYThING to get the songs to appear in the game. I've done EXACTLY what teh FAZ AND y'all told me to do, and it didn't work. I've extracted the file, I've extracted them to the sogs folder, I've even tried copyin them over. God this is driving me bananas! Nothin's workin! :angry:

I came up with a solution, just to go out and get GH3 for computer, but i think I hafta wait till monday

:p I am having problems with a new song that I have designed. The notes load ok, but when I play the file, the program goes maybe 1 screen then tells me that I have finished the song.

Anyone else have this problem ?????

hm yeah i downloaded dance of eternity.. and i extracted the rar folder to songs and when i hit 'import' in game, it was all f'ed up and i couldnt even select the mode i wanted to do it on

You do not go to import! Import is for making your own songs, just extract the file into your songs folder, then open up fof and go to play game.

WHY ON EARTH HAVE WE GOT 13 pages of people asking how to add songs to the game?? Its 2 things you have to do thats it!!!
Extract the file, then copy the file to your FOF songs folder ? how hard is that really!

what todo with rar files??its not in a folder its just a file

i downloaded metallica master of puppets an its rar.file so i right clicked on fret on fire an went to properties then hit find target so then i went to data folder clicked on it an then went to song folder opened it then clicked on the metallica song an dgragged it onto the folder?? i went to play game its not there?what to do?

Hi, I've downed a couple of new songs.. And I put them in the \songs folder, want to import them so I can play them, but i dont see a folder with that map..

How/what is wrong?

First @ MEXICANKID16 Did you just post blindly without even reading the previouse 12 pages of posts, FOR GODS SAKE, READ THINGS. We have said over 300 times now " YOU DO NOT PUT RAR FILES INTO YOUR SONG FOLDER, YOU MUST EXTRACT THE RAR FILE FIRST ! Now go read the forum you idiot!

Now for HEXYLE... You too have managed to fail at just looking up! HOW ?? EXACTLY 4 posts above yours Blackfate clearly says, ignore IMPORT that is not for putting songs into the game, it is for ripping the songs from the GH2 disk. All you need to do is extract the rar file,then copy the folder it gives you, to your fretsonfire/data/songs folder, you allready said you copied it to your songs folder . so now you just load the game and choose PLAY, the song will be there.

FOR GODS SAKE WILL PEOPLE JUST LOOK AT A FEW POSTS BEFORE TYPING ALL THIS MEANINGLESS CRAP!!!! my cat could figure this out its that simple. 2 things thats all it is nothing else. Extract the rar file, copy the extracted folder to you SONGS folder . DONE!

I can get songs by the individual downloads that are .rar but i found song packs i wanna download but they are torrents and i have no clue what those are so how can i get them into the game?

I am unable to find my Song file so I can add more songs. Where do I find this file I have done a search on my computer for the file but it doesnt show up.
