Does Band hero drumkit work ?

Hi all. Hope someone can help. this looks excellent but getting this up and running its proving a bit more of a headache than i had hoped. was hoping it was going to be fairly straightforward.

I downloaded FOF an FOFix, i own a set of band hero drums for my ps3 but they dont seem to work with either. Connected via a small usb dongle thingy thing.

Im doing a bit of googling and not coming up with much at all. Obviously rockband/guitar hero drums are the most popular.

So firstly, can anyone confirm the Ban Hero drums do work in the first place ?

If so, could someone post up a quick checklist of everything i might need to download to get this working ?

You need Xpadder to play in FOF
With Phase Shift (which is 10000 times better than FOF) you don't need any additional programs.
I have BH kit and it works perfectly in PS.

Is this an xbox set? If so, download the drivers for the controller and it should work fine in FoFiX.

Edit: Nevermind, just saw it was PS3, I should learn to read better...

The other option is to buy an Xbox set, which basically work plug and play.

Gaghet your a legend mate. Just got PS installed, all seems to be going good so far.

Only thing is ive downloaded a few songs. Live links which i could find {well and truly missed the boat on this. Cant believe this has been around for years and i havent known about it } ... but alot of the songs seem to be for expert/hard.
I dont suppose there's a simple edit to make change this default difficulty. Or is this just the way the song/file has been created from the start? If you get what i mean.

Dont suppose its as easy as changing the song.ini file no?
Also seen the 'song options' tab. Ingame i changed this to -1, but didnt seem to have any effect.

I played a few songs on hard/expert. Done not tooo bad lol. Footpedal was non existent an was on no-fail mode ofc.

The wifes going to be disappointed

nope, each difficulty needs to be made te same way expert is, most charters only chart expert/hard to save themselves the time of making lower difficulties

the song_diff tag is simply the orbs that indicate how hard the song is :P

you can downchart them yourself if youd like, downcharting is pretty easy
