Re: using 2 instruments in multiplayer mode
The only way I've been able to get this to work is to use a keyboard and a Rockband/Guitar Hero guitar.
The reason being is that the keyboard uses the F1-F5 keys and the enter key, whilst the Rockband guitar's buttons are rigged up as joystick buttons. Thusly, they don't override.
Then to play multiplayer, you simply set controller 1 to use the guitar controller (I've found that multiplayer won't work properly if the guitar controller is anything but controller 1) and controller 2 to use the keyboard.
Then you just play Multiplayer and it should work.
IN THEORY you can do it with two keyboards, but you'd have to rig up all the buttons to be different, so you don't have conflicts.
So, there you go. That's the only way I know of doing it.

Check out the Extreme Metal Community Hero Thread!
A convenient place to store all the non-technical death metal, black metal, thrash metal, and any fusions of those three - both what we fret, and what you fret!
Charted a song that you'd love to release, but are concerned it'd get drowned out in all the other releases? Submit it into Fuzkeren or myself for the EMCH thread and we'll guarantee at least a review, and will probably give your song a place on the thread (full credits to you, of course). Every submission helps!
