EoF drum problem

Postby mbnasir6 » Sat Mar 07, 2009 6:10 pm

I spent ages, and i mean AGES making the drum track for "The Anthem". I looked at a couple of tutorials and did it right. I even have a seperate drum track, where you only hear the drums. So i used FL Studio to make my .mid file and drum track which is .ogg.
Problem is whenever i try to load up the notes.mid file into EoF it goes to 99% then crashes! And other drum tracks and notes.mid made by other people load up fine. Is there any fix?

You're probably more likely to get help if you upload the file and link it so that others can test, try and reply if they find a fix for it. ;)

guitar.ogg is a required file in FoF, so EOF creates it upon save if it doesn't exist in the destination directory. The import was crashing because the MIDI track wasn't called "PART DRUM", however there is another issue preventing the file from working in EOF. Hopefully NewCreature may be able to shed some light on the issue.

When i first made it, it was called PART DRUM, then i thought that might be the problem so i changed it back to MIDI OUT.

I think your notes are located in the wrong spot in the midi file. Yours is located at about C9, when it should be at C8. Your notes need to be moved down some.

Here's Yours

And here's one that works properly

I didnt fix it. The picture was of one of my charts. I moved the notes down and it loaded in EOF and the notes showed up, only problem is that I'm not exactly sure which note was supposed to be what in the midi.
