Open a terminal and "cd" to the base folder where you extracted EOF. Type "make" and hit enter. All this assumes you have installed the "build-essential" and "allegro-dev" packages. Also, if you want to be able to import MP3 files you need to install the "lame" and "vorbis-tools" packages as well.
