Lefty Mode Crash

Hello,

whenever I set the game settings to play on lefty mode, it always crashes when I get to the song. I'm pretty sure this is a bug, however I was wondering if there was patch for this or something, because it is really hard to play holding the guitar left-handed and trying to keep up with the notes which are as played as if they were being played right-handed.

this might sound dumb, but does 'lefty mode' mean the opposite of how you normally hold the guitar, for ex: left hand on strum, right hand on frets? ???

lefty mod is a graphical effect for our brain, green keys is on right... but some of us (lefty) prefer to strum with right hand...as guitar

where did you get that hes using 1.2.512?? it doesnt say that anywhere... and remember RFmod also has lefty mode and its a lot smaller than your cult status alarian mod.


@Fluffy Taco your right it does sound Dumb. Why the hell are you asking a question about something you could check yourself in less than a minute ?? just load the game set it to lefty mode and BOOM you will see what lefty mode is.

this is a supposition, but most of the time left-handers have this problem because they use this version...I bet a beer

I'm not a big fan of MFH / alarian mod (starpower, sloppy etc etc), I prefer the older mods (rf+capo+GH by raph) without blablabla, and often I disagree with other French...
for me Fof is NOT GH or RB....but I am with minority and I like compare my scores with other..

Well I was using the most recent version of Frets on Fire, however I am now going to use that alarian mod, seems a lot funner. Oh yeah, does lefty mode work on that mod?

Now you get the answer: the 1.2.512 is known since its release to be full of bug, one of them is the famous lefty flip doesn't working... Don't use this version, use the 1.2.4XX if you want stock-FoF, but I recommend you "MFH Mod / FoFiX", the topic is always on the first page in Mod Section, or the "B-Mod", if you prefer 3D stuff.
