Funeral Music
What music would you likes to be played while decending into the depths of the ground or being burnt to ashes?
Personally I'd like some Metallica-ish (no, not the Battery kind of Metallica, something like No Leaf Clover)

Something from Symphony X.
Either The Odyssey or Shades of Grey I guess.

Re: Funeral Music
Child of Dust is nice, and apropriate for a funeral. Im not to sure about the second one, but hey, who am I.
Welk ritme heb je uitgeschreven bij locatie? ik kom er niet uit
I personally do not think that Symphony X or something similar is fitting for a funeral.
I never thought about funeral music, and I got no clue what I'd want. Seeing how I (probably) won't die in the next few years (fingers crossed), making a choice now would exclude the coming 50, 60 years of music!

Bloodmeat van Protest The Hero. Ergens op anderhalve minuut in het liedje.

The Odyssey could be seen as a journey from life into some kind of a new life (Let the new life begin...this is the end of my odyssey)
And give Shades of Grey a listen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvIuRCF63lA)

Alright, Shades of Grey is good, I stand corrected. Symphony X might be suitable for a funeral after al

Re: Funeral Music
My father has always maintained he wants AC/DC's Rock In Peace at his funeral.
As for mine... I'll get back to you on that one.

Re: Funeral Music
Since when do you like Megadeth!?
On topic: FUNERAL DOOM METAL is a genre :P
But I wouldn't want that. I wouldn't want something so sad that everyone in the room would weep and die and orchids would grow from their carcasses.
Hmm...Into The Infinity Of Thoughts by Emperor.
