Hold on. If it sucks, how is it pretty good?

@kawaii: 8/10 because it justifies your member title.

Hm, duno, but perhaps you like really selfmade avatars ike mine? It was derivated from a photography of my right eye and played around with some filters of The GIMP. From this little creativitysession there result also some other derivates like Image or Image or Image or Image or even Image but i guess the best for use as an avatar was even Image

;)

(i'm curious about your ratings now*g*)

Not anyone. But anybody with an animated picture program, and common sense can make your ava ADH. Take a white small brush (or pencil) scribble, then animate the meter.

I'm not saying it's bad, just saying it's simple enough.

Maybe, but why didn't i find a similar avatar up to now? Everyone who can handle his workingtools and has proper portion of creativity inside can do any(!) graphics, so the simplicity of the making-of process is not really an argument in my opinion....the argument would be more the idea to do it (and whats the great idea behind a non or nearby-non moified photo?)..art is even depending on the point of vies...(no, i don guess that Joseph Beuys'"Fettecke" was really art in classical sense, more an artistic kind of provocation*g*)..

But ok, taste of art is totally subjective and so different opinions are absolutey acceptable if expressed in a clear+not unpolite way like here in this thread.

Oh, so you're telling me that you've searched the whole entire world and all of the internet and u haven't found anything similar. My bad.

Because I could have sworn I've seen many that have similar styles and techniques applied to them and I haven't seen all "art" in the entire world, actually very little. And I haven't surfed the whole entire internet.

Totally, totally my bad.

EDIT: Compare this offensive post to my original post:
Honestly, none of those are anything impressive.

I was just simply stating that I wasn't impressed. The reason you got all defensive and pissy is because it was your work, and may (and probably) have put some hard work into it and/or had self pride in it, and that's understandable.

But even then, a simple statement like "This doesn't impress me" shouldn't **** you off as it's coming from one person, and even then it could also be a sign that there's room for improvement, and improvement is what you have to and will acheive in the near or distant future.

This is also the internet. Expect there to be plenty of jerks with tons of e-ego. Unless you're new to the internet, I would think that you should understand that by now, because people like that are everywhere.
