It still says 0.92 to me, perhaps I should delete the cookies and try again...

Re: - Phase Shift -
It would be a browser caching issue. CTRL+F5 is commonly a way to have a browser refresh a page, disregarding anything it has cached.

Re: - Phase Shift -
bah, CTRL+F5 didn't work, it seems I would have to flush my whole firefox to see it(haven't done it in months as to not lose precious history I have stumbled upon)...not happening, I already use ccleaner to delete the firefox cache & everything else(keeping internet history).
Well thanks for letting me know its there, I will take your advise it is.

Re: - Phase Shift -
hi!
I have one question:
It's possible to put slides (sysex) in a song but without using EOF (Editor On fire)?
I want to put slides in some GH songs (like in "One" guitar solo) but I don't want to modify the .midi with EOF
Thank you!

Re: - Phase Shift -
Slides would be specific to pro guitar, you mean sliders, right? Doing that is going to be complicated, but here's the slider Sysex marker format:
You're basically going to have to enter in a bunch of raw MIDI data, marking each start and stop slider phrase for each difficulty that uses them.
Code: Select all
0xF0 (MIDI identifier for Sysex)
Variable length (8 bytes)
3 bytes: 'P','S','\0'
1 byte: (Message ID: 0 = phrase)
1 byte: (Difficulty ID: 0 = Easy, 1 = Medium, 2 = Hard, 3 = Expert)
1 byte: (Phrase ID: 4=Slider note)
1 byte: (Phrase status: 0 = Phrase stop, 1 = Phrase start)
1 byte: 0xF7 data byte ("End of Sysex")
You're basically going to have to enter in a bunch of raw MIDI data, marking each start and stop slider phrase for each difficulty that uses them.

Re: - Phase Shift -
Is there any reason you don't want to let EOF add the slider phrases for you? Any timing loss that would occur from importing the chart, making these changes and resaving would be negligible (ie. < 1ms).

Re: - Phase Shift -
well, maybe i'ts a dumb thing, but I want to keep my midis as "unedited" as can be possible,
and when I modify a Guitar Hero song and save it, the events list appears full of another things apart of practice sections :(

It's possible to modify this with Reaper?

Re: - Phase Shift -
um, i tried playin phase shift with my rb1 x360 wired guitar & the game told me to run PSCtrl which i did...wat do i do with the file it made?

*UPDATE* i can use my rb1 x360 guitar to navigate the menu and everything now but as soon as i choose a song, instruments, difficulty & it tells me to press a button to start the song...the game crashes. also, im using a dell inspirion 530 with a pentium dual-core processor, 2gb of ram on windows vista home basic x86 and its updated to system pack 2.....i havent had any problems with running most games on my desktop unless it was a game like mass effect 2 which thats due to another problem unrelated to phase shift.

your problem is that you're running vista on a dell that should be running xp.
