This game is based on Windows binaries. You'd have to rewrite a good portion of this game to run on Linux/UNIX (well more Linux then anything).

If I want to look for anyone that has had any luck running it on Linux without having to register elsewhere, this is the logical place to do it.

I've been playing around with FoFiX (i was debugging some songs for legacy support), and I came across a feature that I LOVED in FoFiX.

The feature was that FoFiX has the ability to consolidate your entire song library into one menu. For people with multiple folders in their song library for organization (like me), this is a cool feature to see. Being able to sort the songs by different catagories (like song source) is an important thing however. But with the song.ini tag "icon", it shouldn't be a problem.

Also, I would like to see support for song type icon images. In FoFiX, i had the RB arrow for my DLC from Rock Band... and such.

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

That looks familiar to my log when Phase Shift would crash because it couldn't find the codec it wanted. A standard installation of the official Xvid codec won't work, but if you install it from the Combined Community Codec Pack, it should. That's what it took for me on one of my new computer builds.

I got the full version of K-lite codec pack installed, pretty sure it has xvid:

Believe me, I spent half of an entire day testing which methods would work with Phase Shift's video playback. Regardless of whether the codec is installed and can be used outside of Phase Shift, and how I changed the ffdshow configuration settings, I could not get K-Lite's Xvid codec to work reliably with Phase Shift, and the official Xvid codec (from http://www.xvid.org) couldn't be made to work either. Phase Shift would only play the background videos (both the ones I encoded for my charts and the ones that come bundled with the game itself) when I installed CCCP. K-Lite would be my preferred pick as well, so if you manage to get it to work with some configuration tweaks, please let us knwo.

Hi!

I downloaded Phaseshift and some background videos from GH and when I want to play, the game crash. This occurs too when I activate the video menu. I downloaded Vcredist x86, Direct X 9.0 and CCCP and nothing good happens :sad: , what I should gonna do? :confused:
