It took a while but this game has really grown on me. When I discovered that I don't have to configure my controls and that the profiles automatically picked up my Ion drum kit (with proper cymbal support!) I was sold. I can't wait for the next release with pro drum support!

What about the strummed ho/po thing? The game needs some sort of tolerance for them when it comes to fast strumming parts (dragonforce, anyone?)

I dunno if anyone has said this yet, but am I supposed to be able to press frets higher in pitch on a sustain without breaking combo? Because I noticed I can for some reason.
Here's what I mean:

Well, fofix doesnt kill/mute long notes when you tap higher frets either...

Are the commercial games like that too? It doesn't seem to make sense with the rest of the system. I could understand lower in pitch notes not effecting anything, or if the the higher pitched notes were charted(extended sustains).

Commercial games kill/mute the sustained notes when you tap higher frets.
Even though extended sustains is a GHWT+ thing, killing sustains doesnt not break combos, not even in Rock Band.

Just noticed I can tap the inside frets of a chord sustain too.
Not quite sure what the "not break combos" thing had to do with the price of eggs, but since you brought it up even though you don't break combo for a killed sustain you still don't get the points from the rest of the ticks you missed.

I just thought it was worth to mention it.
BTW remember the original fof? You could keep all GRYB frets, and as long as the next chord uses some of those frets (ie: a GRB chord), it was awright to strum :P

Lol, you got me. Sorry, I didn't read what I said earlier, I actually meant should I be able to tap higher notes without killing the sustain :P(considering you're first reply, I thought I did put it that way).

They have answered this before, there answer was they want to have support for GH:WT Extended Sustains, but dont know how to implement them where when you press buttons higher than than note when not in the extended sustains, and not when they arnt

First I'd like to say thanks for your patience while all the new features are implemented. I'm very close to a release now and hope you will all enjoy what we've been cooking up. In the meantime I want to inform you of the song.ini difficulty tags that we've adopted for the real instrument and harmony parts.

Um... so will vocals be added in next release, or the diffs are just added in advance, because sometime you will implement them?
