I figured, who else to ask but this forum!
I got World Tour with my Wii, full band kit (drums, guitar, and mic). Are ANY of these compatible with Rock Band 1 or 2 for Wii? I've seen conflicting reports supporting both sides (there was this 'official compatibility chart' hosted on some really weird third-party site, stuff on Yahoo Answers, all kinds of fun). Even if it's just the mic -- I wanna get Disturbed songs, and I think RB has a monopoly on the band ATM. And yes, I'm aware they're DLC -- there's other good stuff on RB that isn't on WT, too.
Compatibility of Wii GH/RB instruments?

Excellent news. Here's hoping that the Disturbed 01 pack gets released on Wii DLC soon, then

Yeah, that chart was copy+pasted into the 3rd party site I mentioned. Guess it was legitimate. It's also false, apparently -- MoN01 says WT instruments work on RB2. I want to trust him, so... yeah.

I can and did search. That is why I mentioned that in my first post. I had conflicting reports; I was searching for someone who owned WT drums and the RB2 disk.

And don't you read reviews? In the IGN review from Rockband 2 its stated that it works with the GHWT Wii instruments.

Re: Compatibility of Wii GH/RB instruments?
Yes, I read the reviews. All of them. Conflicting ones.
But no, that's cool, I am 99.9-repeating% sure that my WT drums will work on RB2. Here's a new question, though: if a Glovepie script is written for the WT guitar and drums, would I be better off just jury-rigging my WT instruments to FoFiX? Or would it be worth the 50 bucks to get the shiny version of RB2 for Wii that I know will work without a hitch on my 50 inch HD with singing support (if I really feel like it), which would otherwise be lost?
I'm leaning towards spending the extra $50. It's worth it, for online play and the full career mode and better resolution, etc. However, I'd like some opinions from this enlightened crowd.

Spend the $50. No one has been able to get the WT instruments to work in glovepie.
