A 360 FEATURE FOR WII

My friend and I figured it out!
How to chat and play on the Wii!

You must have:
Either A mic compatible with your computer and Output Mics (Simply your standard speakers )

or A Headset compatible w/ your computer. (Yes both the PS#/PS@ and 360 Headsets work)

AND
an IM client (MSN, YAHOO, AIM, GTALK) that both users have


Than:
CHAT THROUGH MIC!

on msn It's Call user (and yahoo too)
not sure on AIM

I can only do it on MSN/Yahoo, not AIm, cause I use a browser client for AIM (aka aim express, etc.)

If you have any trouble just ask.

We played GHWT and SSBB, both using the Mic/Speaker combo, and it worked out fine.

Or you can also use teamspeak/ventrilo and connect to a teamspeak/ventrilo server for larger groups.

I prefer that rather than using an IM client's feature mainly because they allow push-to-talk so that I don't end up broadcasting something unwanted to people online.

It might be hard to access the push-to-talk key on a computer if you play GH:WT or another console game, though. =/

What does this have to do with a Wii? This isn't anything special. People have been able to talk to each other for years over the internet. Big deal.

[edit]Also, MSN's voice chat/video system is complete garbage (it uses too much bandwith and is poor quality). Setting up your own TeamSpeak server is probably the best way to go.

Uh.. the vocalist of the band doesnt come thru on the internet.
If it would, so be it.. that would be fine, as it would be part of the game.

Have you played it?
But when you have the losers playing the other instruments singing along during the song.. especially if there IS A REASON they are not the vocalists...
it kills the song.
