Re: Strings on Speed
I would really like to test this online... But no one is hosting and no one joins if I host... It seems that no one actually runs the game :(

bowzerk didn't post here in a while but he recently (Jul 02 2009) submitted changes to the game code. I believe we can expect some news soon.

Re: Strings on Speed
I'd play this game with someone if I knew how to get my RB guitar to work with it (Idk how to change the controls). I really wanna test out the online.

Though right now the joysticks are supported in Strings On Speed (you can change the buttons by editing the j_keys in config.xml file), the guitar controller support is not perfect yet. In my opinion, it is currently easier to use a program like xpadder or joytokey to map your guitar controller to keyboard keys (that you can easily change in the settings in-game)

Here's a small update for those who care:
- I'm still working on SoS every now and then, but not a much as I used to...
- Since the last release I have mostly been working on bugs and performance improvements.
- I have been working on linux compatibility. The game works fine on Ubuntu in a VirtualBox. I have not tested it on a real linux installation so far though.
- Not sure right now when I will release the next version.
- Here's a screenshot of the current version featuring working FoF-models and improved fps. ;)

That looks awesome, Bowzerk! Thank you for the update.
