Re: Guitar Hero Metallica News
I like Metallica and all, but I don't forsee myself buying this game. Too much of a single band on a game ruins it for me.

Re: Guitar Hero Metallica News
I wonder how they will handle the bassists. Will they actually include all 3 in the game? I don't know what else they would do but I'm only saying this because Jason might not want to be in the game.

Screw this game and all other single-band GH titles unless they have Guitar Hero: Rise Against

Re: Guitar Hero Metallica News
Why do they have completely unrelated bands in this game?
I mean, I'd understand Megadeth or something, but come on... U2?!

It may have to do with the fact that Metallica wants to play with U2 (http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/51310/It-s-up-to-U2-Bono), but then again it may not. You never know where they come up with some of their song choices (not a U2 fan at all, though I don't hate U2).

It's like with GH:A. It's bands they toured with, although if they're going to have U2 it's just an extra selling point.

We wanted a little bit of a different slant. Basically, you start out and you play some songs and you get warmed up, and there's a competition. We're trying to pick a band to play with us and go on the road with us.
Hmm
It's not loading for me but I found some tidbits from the article and all the images on other sites

Re: Guitar Hero Metallica News
i dont think the spoilers that bad of a spoiler... but then again i cant read the actual article. i probably wont get this game. with guitar hero aerosmith i just rented it, beat the whole thing on expert, played some bonus songs (mercy is a beast song) and gave it back. for the sake of m.o.p., i'll proly do the same exact thing.

Re: Guitar Hero Metallica News
One thing I've been wondering.
Since Metallica has 2 guitarists, why not make it up to 5 players (assuming the vocals guys does the singing only)? Knowing Activision they won't do rhythm charts for every song. The more players the better amirite?

or the person on rhythm play's voxtar?
Re: Guitar Hero Metallica News
It will probably give you the chance to play either Bass or Rhythm.
I wonder why they aren't using a model of Lars's Drumkit for the game
The one they have now looks crappy. They need to at least make it unlock able.
Also, if they put ANY Megadeth in there Im going to kill someone as well.
