havent downloaded this yet, but any chance controller logging made it into this release?

tried it, guitar worked perfectly... restarted it, now I get the need to profile error..

Does that mean it's only happening when you run the game with the controller allready turned on?
And when you turn it on after the game has loaded it works??

Ok, once more because I'm having a hard time understanding this.

Any new version of the game will only detect the controller once, and even after a restart it dosn't solve the problem?

If this is true then it makes no sense at all.
Unless you have some kinda virus protect program or something blocking the game.
What happens if you rename the directory of the game? Does it run then?
Or if you re-download the game? Does it run then??
Or if you rename the exe does that do anything?
Because I can't see what a new version should do that would allow it to run only once.

well, is there anyway a dying graphic card could cause it? both computers i tried it on were damaged, my current computer im getting a 7900 GTX to replace my 7600 GS(which is broken) im not sure if a GPU can cause a problem like that or not... and ill test all those when i get up :P

It's unlikely, however, if you're computer is generally broken then it's not a good candidate for bug testing. :)

i know lol, i cant even test this bug because i got 3 computers 2 with damaged GPUs and one just wont install the dx thing >_> ill still try those things and tell ya if any work

ah crap, Im sorry, i think I figured it out.. (well technically you did first) after running through all your ideas i found out that the controller cannot be on when you start the game otherwise it says it needs to profile it.. I swear I've tried that before though >_> well anyway hopefully that makes more sense then the other report :P

ok.. so that turning it on didnt work the last time I tried to play, but turning the keyboard on first let the guitar work...

I think the new release still lacks some ummf, but im liking that its starting to get better. Unfortunately the A/V setting i cant, for the life of me, set perfectly.

well thats why its still a beta, btw i think the accuracy things need to be bigger :P

well we really need to sort out some main menu background music as launching into a silent game has a bit of an odd feel to it

and if u can't calibrate make sure its set to drunk mode to give you more of an allowance if things are slightly off

if you are going to have menu music. I'd use the songs in the music folder like beathazard does. that way you are using music you want to listen to.
