I dunno, Green Day is surprisingly good overall. I hope they have Jesus of Suburbia or Homecoming on there. Probably not, but a man can dream. Might be a bit chord heavy, but they've got enough variation for it to be interesting.
Probably won't get, but then, I didn't get the Beatles RB either and I love the Beatles.
I'd love these songs on that game, if they put one of them on it, it's a sure buy.

So? if they had the capability to put an 11 minute song on, why wouldn't the other company put a 9 minute song on?

I'm personally not a fan of Green Day, but if it sells, then good for them.

He's just saying if Neversoft could add merciful fate in GH:M. Then Harmonix could easily add Jesus of Suburbia into RB: GD

The RB engine is more then capable of a long song. Also cause it is their tweaked engine that they used in TB:RB, why wouldnt they be testing their limits.

Seriously, St. Jimmy would be the only relatively challenging song on AI to put in. And Jesus of Suburbia will be much more likely to be in it based on popularity... I hope the soundtrack doesn't play like a RB version of International Superhits plus AI and 21CB.
I'll wait until someone imports the songs for FOF for this, btw

Green Grass & High Tides had 9 minutes, hadn't it? lol
And I don't know what these bands have to do with challenging songs... I mean, the last Rock Band was about Beatles. Beatles was only for the popularity and, maybe, honor of the band. There wasn't really challenging songs... But it was still good. I know this'll be the pretty damn same.
I wouldn't buy, though. It's not I dislike them... It's just I'm not a real fan. :< I'd save for RB3.

Actually it was around 10 minutes.
There aren't any issues with adding a 9 minute song, Harmonix is completely capable.

So we'll all be mad if they don't put JoS on there?
I can agree with that.
I can agree with that.

Re: Green Day RockBand Release Date Announced!!!
I was going to come in here and express my excitement for the game, talk about how much I enjoy Green Day, and how important following their career was to my bass playing. I might have even mentioned the eye contact Mike and I had when I saw them live. <3
I was going to counter myself by saying that I am irritated at the price, the special edition allowing exporting, and the fact that I will basically have to repurchase the DLC I already own.
I was going to finish by saying that I will buy it, regardless.
All that was until I noticed you put a (arguably) reasonable ending to your post about keeping pointless bashing out of the thread, only to follow up by basing on 21st Century Breakdown.
You sir, are a fucking idiot. You're no better than the people you tried to prevent from responding "lulz green shitz!" Personally, I like the fact that if I'm in the mood for Fecal Matter, Pot, and Masturbation, I can kick up some Dookie. If I want politics or religion, I can dig up the last two albums.
This just in: "Popular Band Barred From Growth!"
You're a moron.
...oh, and Green Day sucks.
