That's because they've been doing cheap covers. I'm talking about professionally done remixes, preferably done by the original bands when possible.

Don't forget Devo, Ace of Spades, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, I Wanna Rock (GH:RT80s), and possibly a few others.

I Wanna Rock doesn't count (it was a rerecording for a 2003 album)

I'd like to see some lesser known bands who are just on the brink of hitting it big with their original work.

Hey I made about 8 songs and converted another 10 or so from your country songs list. They're pretty good quality and I hope you enjoy them. I'm also working on a Geetar Hero of about 40 songs.

What rock band 2 needs is some more indie, punk, and new wave, it already has too much rock and metal like Linkin Park, Blue Oyster Cult, Jimi Hendrix, and Metallica. Rock band 2 needs stuff like Devo, Blondie, The Art of Noise, XTC, etc etc etc.....

There was a whole Devo pack, a Whole Metallica pack, One Way or Another is in main setlist. Not to mention Psycho Killer by The Talking Heads. Also I've not seen a Jimi Hendrix song in there. Where's the Hendrix?

Harmonix is sponsoring a reunion tour of Styx and Reo Speedwagon, I hope this means we will get Renegade as DLC somewhere down the line
