I've been watching this project from afar but I must say, from what I've seen it is very VERY impressive. I love the look, it has a nice, clean look to it. I love how all the folders are organized unlike FoFiX and how it has tons of things just dumped in the data folder. The only thing I don't approve of is the .X file format and how it's DirectX specific, I would prefer it to be in .obj format. I don't mind that it's not open source because it looks like a good game, there is nothing wrong with closed source and if you just wish to create mods and play the game it's wonderful.

I might try this sometime in the future, I have a GMA950 so it should be able to play fine if I lower the settings. I think it would be a great idea for the FoFiX team to actually look at this game for reference on what we should/could be doing.

thanks for the feedback, the .x format isn't really a format of choice, just something we had to go with just to get the project off the ground, so many things to worry about in the early stages of the project sometimes you have to go with options that are just easier to work with so you can focus on the bigger issues.

Fear not. I have a Intel GMA 915, and run the game and a great framerate (using the alternate stage, all the cats kill my framerate in a certain view).

I get 30-60 depending what I have minimized, and thats running the game at the default resolution too. If your on a GMA 950, you should be clear for fun with this game.
