It'd be pretty cool if the keyboard had a continuum-like thing. Probably not too different from the slider bar in GH:WT. (also, Jordan Rudess)

And charting PRO stuff wouldn't even be charting anymore. It'd be more like tabbing.

It'd be even better if RB3 allows the keyboard to use the full screen to display all keyboard octaves if a MIDI keyboard is plugged in and only the keyboard track is being played. This would bypass that weird scrolling system they have and allow for a full sized keyboard (ie. 5+ octaves) to be fully used.

according to one of the interviews posted, here are some new features that are for the standard (classical) Rock Band charts.

Drums:
DOUBLE BASS!!!! (equivalent of expert+)
GH-like drum "Swells" (like guitar sustains, but on drums)
It appears that now, you don't have to be rhythmically perfect with your fills anymore...

Guitar/Bass
"Trills"
Seems interesting... The video didn't show how it was implemented though...

Vocals
Three Part harmonies
That was a given... can't wait to sing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen now...

Probably the trills are just where you can tap two notes at whatever (reasonable) speed you want. So it'll be more lenient.

I hope the Surfing with the Alien trills don't become easier though. >:o
