So WTF is Harmonix doing? Rock Band is a very popular franchise. (Without starting an argument here) A lot of people argue Rock Band is better than Guitar Hero. They're set to have 1000 songs by next year. Rock Band Beatles and Lego Rock Band are on their way...
And yet, I go to my local video games store and I can't see Rock Band 2 anywhere. Why not? It still hasn't been released in Australia
What's going on? Where's my RB2? Sure, I could import, but it's completely beside the point. Guitar Hero has no problems releasing shortly after other major countries, why the massive delay on Rock Band?
EDIT: I just realised, we can't even get the AC/DC track pack down here. That sucks, because AC/DC is from down here!

Isn't Beatles released soon down there? I read somewhere it's simultaneous, hopefully they'r release both?

I've even heard some people who thought that Rock Band was a GH:WT Rip-off (RB1 and WT were released at about the same time)

Good to know. I must admit I haven't gone hunting for it, but I definitely haven't seen it in any stores I frequent.
Just checked ebgames.com.au, and they do have AC/DC, and you can preorder Lego and Beatles. But still no mention of RB2.
Are they just like "screw it, it's been too long, let's move on"?
Oh well, at least I get Lego Rock Band *crosses fingers*

I had to put up with GH1-3 (and 80s) for most of 2008.
Didn't bother me too much, although some would argue that my FOF charts've really suffered for it...
