Hmm, like I said in the IRC, im throwing my recommendation at Bluzer.

Based on what I know working as a Social Media Manager, bluzer frequently interacts with the community. He is well involved and he knows the forums inside and out. Having been around almost as long as he should have a grasp on the rules and legalities of things like I do :)

As for others, RayneBC is an obvious choice given the fact that he's the current devoloper of Editor on Fire, having inherited it from NewCreature. He's been around even longer than bluzer and I (iirc) so he's well versed in this forum.

Both these gentlemen are fine examples of what moderators should be.

Although I appreciate the suggestions of nominating me to be a moderator of these forums. In all respectfulness I graciously decline the position. Well...just because of what I do....unless that doesn't matter.

Perhaps just having Rayne running rampant with moderation tools he'll get the job done alone.

It's never been dead, it still ticks over with the same group of regulars It has it's quiet hours every day, so you just learn when people are more likely to be around.. for example. 5am is a bad time to enter as most people are in bed.
But yeah we ain't dead yet, we're still plodding along after 8 (nearly 9) years.

And mirc still works just fine

I might be a little too late to the party, but anyhow, I think that Mr_Ice_Pickle, and both AlexTaylor and Sygenysis (bombdude) would make excellent moderators. From what I can tell, they have what it takes to be mods. They're also really cool people, so that's an added plus, I guess.
