Well, it looks like it's a screenshot of the private messaging screen on the forum. With a rather nice looking blue theme (though I'm more partial to the dark fire theme myself).

If you tilt your head, it looks like it's a consequence for abusing (and essentially encouraging others to abuse) a system. Imagine that!

Private Messages. While they might not all necessarily need to be kept super confidential, they are called private messages for a reason.

So we get banned because we were doing things that went unpunished months before? There were multiple instances where content was edited out immediately upon request, even without moderator intervention.

Here's an idea staff, if you don't like something that's happening, let us know, and if we were willing to fix it without fear of punishment before, then we probably won't hesitate to fix it with you holding that over our heads.

That was my first thought, why Vedicardi's PMs was disabled, and at the start of this thread.

It must have went unnoticed the first time around(when the thread["PM Diaries"] was created), but until recently when someone bumped it(when I 1st seen it). Someone of special magnificence took notice & decided it was an abuse of the PM system.

...what? You're going to need to clarify Amak. I don't remember seeing anyone complain that the thread was under-moderated seeing as it didn't NEED moderated. We broke no rules that I know of. I know that I've seen people complain about lack of moderation in threads that are clearly out of hand, but I'm pretty sure they were referring to that thread specifically and not a global increase in moderation.

That said, punishments are usually tools that deter people from doing something. All I was told was that I was "Abusing posting privileges", and in this instance, Vedicardi's PMing abilities were limited, both without clarification on the crime that we were being punished for.

So, my question to the staff: How do you expect us to not do whatever it was that we were punished for when you don't tell us what it was that we did? At the moment, many of us are confused as to why we were punished. You gave me a vague reasoning and so I'm simply afraid that I cannot promise that I won't commit this same injustice once more. I can't think of anything that I did that wasn't done months ago when the thread was first started, but I have no idea what else it could have been as that thread was deleted shortly afterwards.

Feel free to PM me with clarification if you feel compelled to (and you should).

it was poor moderation. deleting my thread complaining it was deleted without warning completely was just silly.

Seriously, why? This is an acutal problem. If you suddenly decided to show your friends or relatives, etc your letters because you thought some of them were silly, and then the government banned you from sending or recieving letters.
Would you be ok with that?
