you and almost everyone else have a different definition of spam...

even if it's in the right place, requesting the same thing over and over, uniformally, and obnoxiously as he has, qualifies as spam to most people...

i can live with his one account being legit, but under no circumstances is it okay to create a new account, and then ask for requests, especially in instances where people have said no, AND, "tune posting" is not where you request songs anyways for all intents and purposes... i've seen posts where he asked for songs of his preferred bands in a topic that was strictly one band oriented... or after people have said they were not "excepting" requests... if he put his requests into the tune request section, or only requested songs from people who have openly asked for suggestions (in all cases, not just some... i know he would be saved by this classification on some points) then we have a totally different discussion going on here...

also, i'm not trying to argue, so hopefully i don't come off that way, i'm just clarifying where people are coming from

I totally agree with kamakazikilla there.


I wouldn';t mind the requests if it wasn't always the same band, and even when people don't except them, he asks anyway. That's just down right annoying. And on top of that, he'll come back in that ssame thread later and ask again. If he does get his song, he asks for more.


The accoun thing is something else. Stay with one account, don't make another every time it gets banned. Simple as that. I really wish it would get more enforced.

gui-gui's main account is still unbanned, but he's not getting away with making new ones.

so far he has had the following accounts: Gui-Gui, Elagard, Hades, Aragorn, Luca, Kanon

the only ones banned were Elagard,Aragorn,Luca.

gui-gui copies and paste the same lines for like 80% of his posts: you except requests, rhapsody of fire, luca turilli, good luck

also has done about 20 song threads, and discography threads on the same topics.

he claims to have had his gui-gui account banned, but i'd be okay with him keeping his current one ATM because he seems slightly reformed... he's even organized his requests into a thread *gasp*

Yeah I jsut saw kanon. You know it's him because as said avove everything is always the same in the posts of his.

My ridiculous idea:
Users with over [insert number] posts get a right to ban and delete posts of users with less than 15 posts or if the account is made <24h ago.
Possible and going to work? I doubt it, but it just popped in my mind.

How about this one:
If 5 users report one post, it gets deleted instantly?
