I think it means your level before you get banned from the forums. I got blasted last night for some stupid posts I made that I know I shouldn't have.
Must be Rapt0r and vedicardi had high levels. I just noticed that they are banned. I feel sorry for them. I really liked vedicardi's work.

Re: warning level; what does it do?
There isn't a warning "level". Basically, if you break the rules, you can get a warning from a moderator which informs you that you broke the rules, and it also adds a note to your profile that the mods and admins can see. If someone breaks the rules, we can check their warnings to see whether they've been warned for that offense before to determine punishment.

Re: warning level; what does it do?
I've always been wondering this myself, I had two warnings before the warning system was removed. Good to know there isn't some secret bar that might cause us to get banned unexpectedly.
For one day.

Oh okay. So you could get 3 (or more) minor warnings without any effect, and get banned instantly for something big. Right?

Right. There's no warning-banning threshold in place, so everything is still at the staff's discretion.

They're just suspended, they'll be back soon, depending on how long the mods suspended them for.

Yes, you can get banned at any point regardless of warning levels.
I'd go so far as to surmise that possibly arguing back for getting a trivial warning might be enough to anger certain admins here to bring out the banhammer.
Then again, what would little old me know.

Yes it is enough and I will do it again if necessary. There is only so many times I'm going to repeat the same things to the same persons.

Re: warning level; what does it do?
Someone didn't read the thread.
They don't leave warnings, they leave notes that say you did something bad and if you do it again, they'll deal with it.
At least that's how I read it.
