Sloppy is too easy for me, so I play on strict. Also, a bigger note window became easy, so I switched to tight, and it's still mostly easy.

My idea goes like this: If it's harder than the real thing, then it should be easier to adapt to the real thing.

Since "DragonFail" "sucks" so much, I won't post anything related or about them any longer.

It's done with Sloppy. Anything that gives you 5% more than usual should be called a cheat imo.

This is FoF, meaning it can have very different rules than any official game and not be cheating. FoF is its own game with its own settings.

A cheat would be hacking into the code and adding something to your game that no one else has. Turning on sloppy ho/pos gives you no advantage over anyone else, since they can just turn on sloppy. Its like saying someone who plays in easy is cheating because theres a hard mode that they aren't playing on.

Its not cheating because everyone can do it.

TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!

That's EXACTLY what I meant when I said "GH2 Sloppy isn't cheating" in the TTFAF score thread.

It's not cheating, it just makes the game easier. (And makes Rb impossible after using it too much.)

I use strict cause it's more of a challenge to hit B Y G reverse hopo. On sloppy you can hit R in between and it still counts. It's more of a skill to use strict and also helps to learn to stretch your fingers out
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this game and makes it what it is! Much love for doing what you do!!!

You still need to learn to stretch your fingers out anyway...

And Strict user =/= more skill.

I don't see anything you could take advantage of with sloppy in TTAFAF? ???

In TTFAF there's a lot of parts filled with hopos. You can take advantage in all of those, by randomly smashing your keyboard and hitting every key.

Or by using the reverse tapping technique. It's very easy to pass that parts where there is orange that comes after each note which is different... Something like that:

G O O
R O O O O
Y O O O O O O O
B O O O O
O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O O

With reverse tapping this isn't difficult, it's like a normal tapping section (which are very easy to do)...
If you don't have Sloppy on, you can't pres all the way the orange fret :)

That's me excluded then.

Seriously though, with the HOPO window not unlimited like GH3, I personally find TTFAF harder... Even if using Sloppy.
