Re: GHIII Song Export
Asskickulater wrote:why would you want too?
What I want is to find a way to convert ghiii charts to notes.mid and songs to playable files (the ghiii->notes.mid is the difficult "i don't know how" part)
I want to convert them because:
1.To get a notes.mid file for FoFiX
2.I like some of the songs and I would like to convert them to playable files

Re: GHIII Song Export
1. Can you give me a link to all GH3 Rips. Thanks
2. I want to convert ghiii charts to notes.mid because if I import a custom song ,expert only, it makes easy, medium, and hard automatically.

1. Welcome
2. Use the search bar, not that hard.
3. These numbers look very stupid.
4. Have a nice day.

Re: GHIII Song Export
no it doesnt, it adds 5 notes at the beginning of the song on uncharted difficulties, gh3 crashes if theres nothing in the lower difficulties, so it puts dummy notes in it.

thanks for the link. But when I play on easy or medium (I imported songs with expert & hard difficulty) the notes seem to be right.

Re: GHIII Song Export
I think you're confused. FoFiX does not automatically create lower difficulties of anything. You might have played some customs that only had expert and hard charted. All of the original GH songs would have all 4 difficulties available.

I said ghIII (or the program that converted notes.mid to ghIII files) made easy & medium not FoFiX. I played them in FoFiX in which the difficulties were only hard & expert.

Re: GHIII Song Export
Now you're talking about converting to GH3 format, which is the exact opposite of what you said in the first post (export from GH3). Guitar Hero 3 does not automatically create missing difficulties. Guitar Hero 3 Control Panel may be part of what you're looking for as it is for converting charts to GH3 format, but according to it's official thread, it just copies the upper difficulties into the lower difficulties if those lower difficulties are not charted. Auto Chart Editor is a tool that tries to simplify upper difficulties to create missing lower difficulties, so you may want to look into this as well.

Re: GHIII Song Export
I know how to convert songs to GHIII. The imported songs have lower difficulties when I play them in GH, these difficulties are ether created by the program or GH and they don't have copied difficulties. Medium is easier than Hard and Easy is easier than Medium. I Don't know why this happens when I import them but I pretty much don't care. I just want to know how to export.
