Re: PS3 Owners: Must Read ASAP
The security side of it is always behind the people trying to break in.
Antivirus databases are most commonly updated after a new virus has affected some users. They can't have the foresight to predict every problem.
But the fact that Sony was using dated software doesn't bode well. Makes me wonder why they didn't keep that up to date. Negligence most likely.

Well, lets see what they offer me in terms of identity protection. Was reading the official website for Allclear ID plus, the service normally is 9.95 a month for a normal user.

lol
I read another from the blog that yet again says the exact same thing in different words about how PSN was hacked and how they are working "so hard' on restoring it. I think we've all gotten it by now Sony.

Re: PS3 Owners: Must Read ASAP
They probably are working "so hard" If the system is a complex as they say it is, then they want to be very thorough with their testing. Last thing they would want is a sudden jump in users crashing the system, as well as another hacker attack.

I honestly think it's a complex system, but not as complex as they are making it out to be.

I think they probably just gave themselves too soon of a deadline. Saying "it'll be back next week!" is awesome, if you can do it. Apparently, Sony couldn't.

Which is another reason people are pissed at Sony. They don't follow through with their deadlines.

They've insinuated that since last week.
