I find any shooting game without leaning, rolling, grenades, climbing, and crawling rather lame gameplay wise.

If this post was in response to my Crysis 2 post then it has all of those really.

It was in response to Crysis 2 but was targeting general FPSs. I haven't played Crysis before and am rather interested in it, but all the gameplay videos I saw of it, at least the trailers, have people playing like it's some CoD game: no peaking around corners by leaning, no crawling, no hanging on ledges. I personally despise Call of Duty games and Counter Strike clones because of those missing features (I hate CS more because of lack of iron sights), but that doesn't mean I don't have fun playing them. What I enjoy doing is being able to sneak around the field and head shot people around the corner with a pistol without exposing my entire body to be shot at. I go for stealth and accuracy but in most of these popular multiplayer games stealth and accuracy equals camping with a sniper instead of being out on the field.

Anyway, I somehow got BLACK working somehow (it seemed to work after I popped it in my cd drive to read and then put it in my PS2 to read) and made it through some more missions. I enjoyed blowing up a minefield with my guns.

You might love Crysis then. The great thing about it is that you can play it however you want. I prefer the stealth option as well.

Oh yes, so much YES!!! I cleaned the laser on my PS2 with my glasses cleaner and a q-tip and now every single game of mine works again. I can finally play Romancing SaGa after owning it for a year, I started playing Xenosaga Part I for the first time, and I tried Black and instead of taking 3 minutes to load a level it takes 15 seconds and doesn't have load screens throughout the level. I'm so happy, this weekend is going to be great.

Haha, glad you got it working. I was actually kinda pissed when I finally got my PS2 working, I needed it to work years ago, not now that I actually have things to do :P.

This game is addictive. But learning how to do kombos is a b*tch.

Also, I don't think Terraria can replace Minecraft. I mean, 2D world leaves less room for creativity when building stuff.
