Try about three days ago. (From me, that is) Warnings just aren't public so much anymore.

I hate the new Kotaku layout, it has screen tearing while I scroll down.

Hate. Hate hate hate hate hate. I liked being able to just scroll down, see which articles were interesting to me, open them in new tabs and repeat until I hit the articles I saw the day before. Now, I can't do that s easily - the only way I can stand to browse the gawker sites now is by using the "classic" view - (kotaku.com/#!classic or io9.com/#!classic, etc).

Same here. I usually don't complain about new site layouts like most people, but I'm just not feeling the new Gawker layout.

Doesn't help that nothing displays in my installation of Opera, though that may be more from my adblocker than anything else. Haven't been bothered to check.

It works great with my Opera 11, though the site got really slow... it feels somewhat clunky.

I just started using this site called 8tracks.com. It's pretty cool, you can listen to and make mixes/playlists. So far I've made 2 mixes. A Hardcore mix and an 8-bit mix.

most of the playlists on the site are electronic and indie music, but you can upload any music from your computer and make your own.

websites that keep me preoccupied are the billboard chart webs. i check whats new, whats popular, whats hot, whats not and i keep downloading and discarding or rejecting songs. so it will keep me working for a good number of hours. for people who get bored easily or are not into music, will not find this very good.

if you want to listen to better music then go somewhere else besides the billboard charts to hear about new stuff. here are some good sites for new music reviews and news:

absolutepunk is a little too "scene", but they still have some decent reviews of good albums. and yeah, metalsucks is great.
