- Rap metal should fall under nu-metal

Imo Silent Descent does the same thing but better. Props for the chart for having SD in there.

-There are quite a few missing connections unfortunately due to the design of the whole thing
-Fair enough
-Could have, but oh well
-I think that would have convoluted the map to an extreme degree, but it's a fair point. The only problem is EVERY genre has a "progressive" sub genre. There's even progressive thrash. Crazy
-I disagree, there's a difference.
Queen wrote a BUNCH of songs that heavily inspired speed metal. Listen to Gamma Ray. They have so many direct homages to Queen that they go as far as to note for note replicate sections from songs. No they weren't a metal group but they wrote plenty of proto-metal songs just as Deep Purple wrote Fireball etc but aren't an real "heavy metal" nevermind speed metal group. Songs like that are on there to show influence above all else.
"Twas just an example. I could go on and on and on with each album matching up and have Megadeth kick Metallica's ass. (lolreload)"
They're not even comparable, so stop it.
