Metal Gear Solid is pretty good. Not as well told as the game, but the acting is really well done.

Damn, never knew they made a movie for MGS, I'll definitely have to check that out.

-EDIT-

Can't seem to find anything on it. Care to share a link to a trailer or IMDB or something?

~@Vedi: I See Pan's Labyrinth on that list, so I'm skipping to next person
~The Green Mile: Downloading Now
~Oldboy: Downloading Now
~Wayne's World: Seen it, hilarious
~@Slashfan: All 4 of those comedies are hilarious. Downlading The Edge now.

And yes, anybody that wants too can ask for some recommendations too.

Also, I've got some reccomendations for TV shows too if you're interested:

Spoiler:Supernatural
A show about 2 brothers who hunt supernatural things and mythical creatures. Really good for the fact that unlike most "supernatural/ghost" shows it's not all friendly, it's a lot darker and there's a lot more violence  . Also, a lot of humor injected into it.

Reaper
A show about a guy who finds out his parents sold his soul to the devil when he was born, and now that he's an adult he has to work for the devil bringing escaped souls back to hell. Really funny, and just generally a great show, it's a shame it was canceled after 2 seasons. I think a lot of you guys here would like this show.

Chuck
A show about a computer nerd turned CIA agent/spy. A computer nerd who works at the Buy More (a store like a Best Buy) in the Nerd Herd (Best Buy's Geek Squad) accidentally gets a government computer infused in his head which holds pretty much all the governments secrets. Very funny show, plus lots of action and fight scenes.

Heroes
A show where ordinary people discover they have extraordinary powers, such as the ability to fly, heal from any wound, kill with their mind, that sort of thing. As they go on to discover their true potential they uncover secrets, such as a secret organization that monitors, captures, and kills people with these abilities. This show is really good, however, as it goes on (with each season) it gets progressively worse, in fact it just got canceled after last season. The first season is very very good, I loved it, I'd highly recommend it.

Love those spoilers! Chuck for sure. What about My Name is Earl?

Lost was good too.

And The Office.

Postal is actually pretty good if you have dark sense of humor. And Boll is a genius, just watch House of the Dead.

Hmm, I've never actually seen any of his movies, but I thought he was the world's most hated director.

I can't watch that show any more. It's just so.....white trash.

The Office however is hilarious.

Any and all Monty Python films.
Anchorman (although that type of humor is getting a bit dry)
And if you really want a cheap laugh, Yugioh the Abridged Series is fantastic up til about episode 30.

Personally I hate anything Monty Python. Blah blah blah heresy etc. Its clever, classic sure, but not very funny. Also The Office is so terrible. The boss is just too much of an idiot. My Name is Earl is a really good show however. Dexter is another good show. Turned waaay into a drama after the first season though.

Its really hard to find funny movies, so I usually watch standup. Brian Regan, Bill Burr, Joe Rogan are all good.

Pan's Labyrinth is a good movie, but I think you've got to be some kind of religious person. I had studied the bible for class and found it really interesting, but to those who know nothing, its really just another weird movie.

Btw timfoss, it seems like you enjoy movies where you don't have to think too much? Not an insult.

My kinda list;

Moon
AI: Artificial Intelligence
Payback
What Dreams May Come
The Bothersome Man
Bicentennial Man
Being John Malkovich
Blindness
Surrogates (movie was ok, the idea was fantastic)
Shawshank Redemption (should be on everyone's list)
Taxi Driver
District 9
Lucky Number Sleven
Donnie Darko
The Count of Monte Cristo
Time Machine (with Guy Pierce)
Yes Man
Gran Torino
The Aviator
Akira (so weird)
Office Space
The Prestige
Catch Me if you Can
Die Hard
Religulous
Memento
12 Monkeys

A lot of Disney and every Pixar movie is really good too. And a lot of stuff with Kevin Spacey and Robert De Niro, both awesome actors. And Jack Nicholson lol. Don't care for Pacino much though.

Check out "The Horde." It's a french zombie movie that reminded me a lot of "Dawn of the Dead" combined with elements of "Assault on Precinct 13". As long as you don't mind reading subtitles you'll have a lot of fun with this one. They sure don't make movies like this in the states anymore.

Not my opinion as I don't have one.

I'm not saying that HotD is good but I am saying that I had a great time watching it ("so bad it's actually good" -thing). Uwe is the only director capable of making a video game movie, everyone else takes themselves too seriously.

Heh, I actually searched for "Metal Gear Solid Movie" just after posting that. I watched the first 5 minutes or so. Might watch it tonight.
