Muscle Twitch?
Uh..not to sure why im asking here... just maybe someone has experienced this?
A couple of days ago i noticed in my right arm that a muscle was twitching very visibly. Just above the crease by my elbow. I thought nothing of it but now all day today its been coming and going. You can see the damn thing move it looks like something trying to escape from inside my skin...
Is this normal? It doesnt hurt at all although i can feel it when it happens. Googling brings up horror stories about neurological disorders so i promptly stopped looking at that stuff
Any idea what it could be? Its definitely increasing in frequency..
Probably gonna go see my doctor tomorrow..
EDIT: As i right this, my leg started doing it! Left leg, by my ass cheek feels like a heartbeat or something strange like that..

Re: Muscle Twitch?
I had a part of my tongue twitch once, looked pretty freaky. It never happened again though.
Try rubbing it or something.

I have been. Its not sore or inflamed or painful or anything like that. It feels perfectly normal except for when my muscle starts doing the polka
Bit freaked out by it though if im honest.

The last thing you want to do is read about symptoms on the Internet. It just leads to a bunch of poorly diagnosed panic-diseases.
If it's concerning, go to a doctor. A few Google searches and you'll be convinced that your brain is defective.

Re: Muscle Twitch?
After having some tiny muscle next to my eye twitching for two weeks I decided to Google for possible reasons. The first three and most common diagnoses I found were stress, lack of magnesium and brain tumor.
EDIT:
Oh yeah, a more serious answer. I don't think that's worth seeing a doctor, as far as I know it's not that uncommon. Just wait a few more days and/or get some magnesium pills.

Re: Muscle Twitch?
Muscle twitches/ticks are common in male adolescents and young adults (usually in the 14-26 range). I've had problems with ticks in my neck and an eye twitch... both have which ended.
Give it time.

Thanks for the replys.
Yes, looking on google was a stupid idea. I was also pretty high and tripping out over my moving arm. Its still doing it now but i just wrapped a small towel round it so i cant sit and look at it imagining the numerous ways it is going to lead to my untimely death.

Re: Muscle Twitch?
I used to get them all the time. Just relax and they should go away in a few days. I know how annoying they can be at times =P

Okay, but maybe you should try laying off the pot if you think it's something major.
