hey guys i just wanna let you all know that my youtube account has been suspended and all my of vids are gone :( I decided to post this on the forum since most of my subs came from this forum so if you guys still wanna sub than go to my new channel which is here http://www.youtube.com/user/Void222X I am really mad BTW at youtube and all of the google crap. I dont no if theres even a point of making vids on it anymore. For now i just feel like quiting videos but i still have hope on getting my account back if i get the mail from them then i will hopefully get it back but chances are all my videos will be gone well thx for taking the time to read this and ill be posting more vids as soon as i get over the fact of my channel being wiped out.

But yeah. There are better video sites than youtube as far as content restrictions go, but Youtube has by far the biggest video-watching community on the internet.

well not entirely the reason is that i just needed a place to tell my subscribers that i got suspended cause i cant get on my suspended account and leave a shout out to all my subs saying that i got suspended. I wish i could but they dont me to touch my old YT Acc any more Thank got 80% of them came from this forum otherwise i would never get them back. Thx to all that subbed again =D

Woah. Yeah, that's incredibly offensive to people who have or have lost people to cancer/aids/whatever other ACTUAL diseases the Ribbon represents. Isn't there some sort of original symbol you can think up?

The ASCII ribbon is distasteful, but so are your complaints that Youtube is enforcing their stated policies. If you don't really agree to them, even though you agreed when you created your account, then use another website. Youtube has to protect itself because they are in fact the largest streaming video site. This may annoy you, but it ensures that the people that put up material that is 100% theirs have a site to use.

ya i agree with you but you have to atleast admit that the old youtube was better

Apparently Viddler is quite a good alternative to Youtube, with much more leniant copyright policies. However, as mentioned already, you won't get the view count that Youtube videos get...
