How have you grown up?
10 - 13 Always acted older than the other kids, tried to take responsibility, really fat, out of shape, liked country, was connected to family quite well, didn't have friends, terribly unpopular, had really big glasses, and a mullet(lol), played video games hard core(many, many RPGs), quiet, pretty malevolent, had christian beliefs.
14 - 16 Lost weight, got smaller frames for glasses, had shaggy hair(covered eyes for a while), got into Guitar Hero II, got into metal(Lamb of God took my metal virginity), had friends, was a jack ass most of the time, lost christian beliefs, very malevolent, hated people(mostly ridiculed), looked emo-ish, dyed hair some time in there, got first girl friend, got skinny (abnormally skinny, mind you), stopped playing games, except guitar hero.
17 Stopped caring about popularity, and placement in high school. Started lifting weights, trying to get fit, discovered Frets on Fire, got back into games here and there, got lots of dates, had medium hair, got thick lenses for glasses(they are black), lost actual virginity(still with girl), moved to a lot of houses, eventually settled into my own house again, first job.
18 Grew a goatee-type thing, lazy with shaving, same glasses and hair, lives in parents basement, completed highschool with a 4.0 on latest report cards, engaged, plays games when I can, listens to more variety of music (though metalcore is probably my favorite, along with thrash and speed), got into tv series a lot(love watching stories), hates xbox 360(no creativity any more), can't get employed, loves life, afraid to die, a lot smarter this year.
Ehh, I could go on and on, but what are some of yours. guise?

I'd rather not go into detail, but I basically grew up in poverty; meaning I usually had no electricity or heat, and usually no food in the house, when we lived in a house.
I'd say things have changed drastically.

-12: I was a smart nerd
13: I listened to hip hop and rap rock
14: I listened to hip hop and rap rock and pop punk and mainstream emo
15: rap rock slowly became rap metal, which slowly became metal, which slowly became death metal, speed metal, thrash metal, metalcore, etc.
16: basicly, I now just listen to (hardcore) punk and various kinds of metal. Along with calm female voiced piano based songs about summers and love and all that. And I'm not smart anymore.

Interesting to read this... well you're 18 now and think you're smart, wait until you're 23 like me and you'll laugh at the time back then! The older you get the smarter you'll get... (most of us do, but there are exceptions of course)

Re: How have you grown up?
I haven't grown up at all.
I've always hated mainstream rock/pop/rap, liked a lot of genres, and believed more or less the same things.
Maybe some day.

Re: How have you grown up?
Maybe some day your name will be in lights sayin' Jhonny B. Good Tonight!!
Well, uuhm. I'm kind of the same too. When I was 10 I was absolutely what you "Cool kidz" would call nerdy. I've always had a great relationship with my parents so I always used to do what they say, following it step by step. I was smart and had good manners. Very, very few good friends tho...
When I was 13 to 15, Well I was still the same, until I became 15 and we had a clasrrom change in school. They placed me in a classroom where I didn't have any friends... so slowly some of the guys into metal (atheists, didn't give no sh*ts) started to brace me into their group. I didn't know poo about metal (or music in general) until I met theses guys. I lost some manners, not my faith tho, and I'm still smart. (Not really a saint or anything, haven't gone to church in lots of years. But atleast I believe there's a god and try to be cool)
Right now I know a bit more about music. But that's about as much.
