20 years ago, "E3" was the same

Does any of this sound familiar?
Showing off various mechanisms for motion controlled games?
How about a game that aims to teach people how to play real instrument(s)? And had a keyboard peripheral?
The announcement of a Michael Jackson game?
Nintendo completely dominating the show?

No I'm not talking about this year's E3... I'm talking about the summer Consumer Electronics Show of 1990.
Isn't it great how far games have come over the decades?

blech, typo. Also, "E3" was in quotes for a reason. There was no E3 in '90, CES was basically a predecessor
