Have you looked at the documents on the RBN site?

http://creators.rockband.com/docs/Mix_and_MIDI_Setup

Just scroll down to tempo map. You can chart out the tempo on 95% of songs in less than 5 minutes, maybe 10-15 if you need to do some tweaking.

I suggest you do a bit more research before you start charting songs in the future..

I could never get Reaper's tempo mapping feature to work for me, I always use EOF and Mixmeister BP analyzer, it works well, just sometime it leaves gaps.

I have done my research, I thought you were talking about something like, click and it does everything automatically.

That's not how you should be doing it anyway. If you're not or "can't" do it the easy way, you should set up a click track midi as a metronome and run it through the song. Mixmeister shouldn't be used normally and it certainly shouldn't be used for something like this.

This.

I thought you've already started making songs

I have. Mixmeister has worked perfectly for about 6 songs so far, so yeah, it can be used for this. I'm just running into problems with a few and as I'm starting to take on more and more projects, I don't have the time to deal with all of them and work out all the bugs. It's easier to hire someone else to help out, that way I can speed up production time too.

I do hope you're manually going back and fixing the beat syncing. I'd really like to see a video of the songs you have made so far.

Of course, you can't just put down a static bpm and use it throughout the entire song, 99.9% of the time that won't work. Just use Mixmeister to get the general map done then go through and mess with the anchors as needed.

Youtube videos will be up withinh a couple months, we're still in the process of making that official in our contracts. Also, all songs will be released here for FoF as well

if you have the BPM off by just a tiny tiny bit it desyncs the whole song and you pretty much have to re-do everything. It's not as simple as "I can slop my way through and someone else can fix it" particularly when it comes to preliminary BPM syncing.

No, I know how to make a tempo map, I just don't know how to do it with Reaper. The only reason I want help is because of the reasons in my last post.

I just explained to you that you need to set up a click track and then move the BPM bar up and down ever so slightly every now and then so that the click track syncs with the drums.
