Winter-een-mas is upon us!

Postby tibiazak » Sat Jan 23, 2010 10:37 pm

Winter-een-mas is a holiday of sorts. More specifically, it is a celebration of video games and the people that play them.

Winter-een-mas lasts for a whole week, which is always the very last week in January, the 25th through the 31st. The entire month of January constitutes the Winter-een-mas season, very similar to the "christmas season", where people begin to gear up for the holiday, and get into the spirit of things.

Anybody here have any plans? I'm probably gonna try and buy a game tomorrow and play the heck out of it. (Dragon Age & RE5 are what i'm debating between if anybody cares or has opinions)

Incidentally, here is info on winter-een-mas if you've never heard of it.

For this "glorious" week, I'll probably be finishing Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete, and then start whatever PSX RPG that is in the 'Case of Many Games' that I'm borrowing from a friend.

Maybe Digimon World 2.

Those were my plans before I heard about this doofy thing anyways.

Yeah, apparently the only decent gaming thing I will be doing this winter-een-mas is buying a used Xbox 360 for $110. It's exam week anyway, I can't do much.

I see.

Oh, tibi.. I have played through both RE5 and DA:O and there is more replay value in DA:O by a longshot but RE5 was more fun (i played the whole career coop over live, really was awesome) I reckon you'll be happy whichever way you go.
